Back in October 2008, I was chosen as one of only nine national judges for the annual Blue Peter Book Awards. I had to read 9 books from various categories and be ready to meet up with the other judges to decide the winners.
On a cold January day I flew down to London with my mum and dad to spend a day at BBC TV Centre. Me and the other judges were filmed during the judging process and were also asked to do a bit of acting for a special Blue Peter Special programme that was to be aired a few weeks later.
We had a great time but it was a very busy day. During one of the more quieter moments I decided to interview Andy, one of the current presenters. I was joined by Mitchell and Darragh, two of my fellow judges.
Unfortunately the tape ran out just as Andy confessed to something that maybe he shouldn’t have…
Cool!!!
