Yummy new Cathy Cassidy book, Angel Cake!
Out on the 2nd July.
HOW COOL!!! Here’s a snippet of what it’s like:
‘Anya used to dream of moving to Britain to start a brand-new life. But as she sits in a school where nobody understands her, she dreams of Polish summer skies and the place where she once belonged.

It sounds like a fantastic book; I can’t wait to read it. Cathy’s written so many amazing books, I don’t know how she can do it. I’m a huge, huge fan and have every book she has written. Angel Cake would just complete my collection…for now!
It was only a couple of years ago when I first met Cathy. It was at my towns’ Children’s Book Festival and I’d seen one of Cathy’s books with its quirky drawings and fab blurb. So I read it and instantly fell in love with her writing! So I went to her event and ever since I’ve attended every book signing or festival that I could with her there. I’ve even introduced her once or twice!
So as you can see I will definitely be reviewing Angel Cake…once I get my hands on it!!!
